Create your online gift registry : This is work that you can easily do from office. All you need to do before is to discuss with your partner about the gift items to be added in your wedding gift registry. Letting your guests know about your gift registry will help you to have gift that you wish to have instead of collecting stuff at the name of gifts that is of no use to you.
Also , your guest too will be happy to give you something of your own choice.

When you are done with adding gifts in your online gift registry, think of ways to circulate your gift registry to guests :
  1. You can do this by collecting email id of your guests and share your wedding gift registry to them on email.
  2. Take use of social media networking. Put your wedding gift registry URL there so that your friends and family will come to know about it.
You can use your lunch hours or free time to do this things in office.

Check your online gift registry in regular intervals:
Login and check if any gift out of your dream gift registry is pending to get listed. If you wish to have some more gift or if some gift item just clicked you, add it now and update your gift registry. It is also advised to add a note for any gift you are going to add just to have more information on that gift.

Recall all your vendors in regular intervals: If your working environment permits, do call or else email them asking the review of services they are doing. Ask them if they need anything from your side. And yes .importantly, do call your florist , caterer. Or, if you have hired a wedding planner, call your planner and take reviews.

Cards selection : Call and ask your planner to send sample of  your big day cards, thank you cards, guest cards so that you will be able to view in office hours only. Also, if you are specific about the content of card(s) , compose it and attach it to your email or send it to your partner/family for review at the same time.

Appoint Wedding Planner :
Appointing a wedding planner is the first and foremost work you need to do for your wedding. Having a wedding planner will reduce most of your work load and you will only have to supervise the planner’s work. For a better planner, ask for your family members/friends recently married who took services of wedding planner. Or, you can search online for Wedding Planner in your area and fix a meeting with them after office hours or on weekend.

Prepare Guests List:
This is something that even your planner couldn’t help you out. Keep a diary with yourself or in Excel sheet to list your guests for wedding. You can do it during your lunch breaks or sometime after dinner. Don’t try hard at once , as this is time consuming work. Yes, for help you can scroll through your phone book contact list , email contact list. You’ll get reminded of your long time contacts here. You can also put some guests name in emailing list. Also, relax and discuss the wedding guest list with your partner and with your family member. They will help refine the list and will add up in case you are forgetting someone important.
